AUTISM AWARENESS FESTIVAL
Volunteer

PARENTS'
NIGHT OUT

OFFICE TASKS & POSITIONS
This festival is a chance for the community to come together as one, and for families with special needs to make connections they might not be able to otherwise.
The entire festival is volunteer-run for everything from set up to race registration to games. Before the festival there will be a mandatory volunteer meeting, available on two different days, to give instruction on each area. Registration is required.
The first Friday of the month September - May, we offer a respite evening for the parents of special needs children. From 6:00 - 9:00 pm, we offer a safe place for these children and their siblings to have fun while their parents get an evening off.
Before each Parents' Night Out, there is a mandatory meeting for volunteers at 5:00 pm, including a provided dinner, for instructions specific to each child or station. Registration is required.
